Bank Holiday Punday

Bank Holiday weekends are a bitch if you’re in the pub trade, partly because they tend to be hideously busy and partly because half your staff have pre-booked family engagements to go to just when you’re really busy. I’ve thus been working rather long and late days, and have had little time to think or write since Wednesday.

In the interests of levity, therefore, here is a medieval equivalent to fourth-form humour. If your monastic order is founded by St. Dominic and spend their time hunting heretics, what would you call them? The Hounds of God (Domini Canis).
